If an item is unavailable we will try to inform you via the email address or contact telephone number you have registered with your account. Please make sure your details are kept up to date.

Accepting your order

No contract of any kind exists between Hilltop Honey and the customer until the order has been received and accepted by Hilltop Honey and payment for the order has been received by Hilltop Honey. We will send a confirmation email to the customer at the point that the order has been accepted.

Delivery

Orders marked with next day delivery will be delivered using UPS, any orders after 12pm will be processed the next working day (Monday-Friday). All orders marked with standard delivery will be delivered with my hermes, any orders after 12pm will be processed the next working day and will take 3-5 working days to deliver.

Delivery charges are calculated at the point of checkout. Hilltop Honey currently deliver only in the UK. Delivery times are displayed for guidance only and while we endeavour to deliver in the quoted time, we can not be held liable to you for deliveries made either early or late. Additionally, we will make reasonable attempt to contact you prior to your scheduled delivery if we foresee difficulty in fulfilling your delivery. In the event of non-delivery, our liability to you will be limited to the price of goods not delivered and the cost of delivery.

Payment

Hilltop Honey shall be entitled to payment in full for the price of goods on the date that the customer’s order is placed. We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.

In the event that a failed payment occurs, you agree to compensate us in full against all reasonable costs, expenses and outgoings incurred by us in obtaining payment from you. This may include an administration charge not less than £15.

Cancellations and Returns

For non-perishable items, you have the right to cancel the contract at any time until the expiry of the seventh working day after the date of delivery of goods by notifying us in writing – either via e-mail or letter. In the case of perishable items you do not have the right to cancel the contract.

The cancellation policy does not affect your rights when Hilltop Honey are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to you and other customers in future.

Refunds

We are legally required to refund you for the full cost of your order, including delivery charges, within 30 days of cancellation of your order. In practice however, we will usually refund your payment much sooner.
